The Dane County Towns Associatioin advocates for all facets of open government. For some, Wisconsin's open government laws are clear. Virtually all records and government meetings should be open and accessible to the public. But some facets of open government laws can be complex for others.

There is a great deal of self-help available if one takes the time to read it. We strive to make this section something of a easy-to-find clearing house of information on this topic.
